Symptoms

Your Odin Automation instance has a dedicated node for domain registrar PHP plug-ins, and you need to migrate this node to Azure.

Cause

You are migrating your Odin Automation instance to Azure, and you need to migrate this node to Azure as well.

Resolution

  1. Make sure that your Odin Automation management node is already in Azure.

  2. Remove the existing domain registrar PHP plug-in node from Odin Automation. To do this, follow the instructions at https://docs.cloudblue.com/oa/8.0/premium/content/Operations-Provider-Guide/Removing-Hardware-Node.htm.

  3. Deploy a new Azure VM according to the hardware requirements described at https://docs.cloudblue.com/oa/8.0/premium/content/Linux-Platform-Deployment-Guide/Hardware-Requirements-for-Domain-Registrar-Plug-ins-Node.htm.

  4. Register the Azure VM that you created as a new domain registrar PHP plug-in node in Odin Automation. To do this, follow the instructions at https://docs.cloudblue.com/oa/8.0/premium/content/Linux-Platform-Deployment-Guide/Registering-Domain-Registrar-Plug-ins-Node.htm.

  5. If you are using custom domain registrar PHP plug-ins that are not included in the Domain Plug-in SDK (PHP), you must re-deploy them on the new domain registrar PHP plug-in node. To do this, follow the instructions at https://docs.cloudblue.com/oa/8.0/premium/content/Domain-Plug-in-SDK-Guide-(PHP)/Location-and-Naming-Conventions89039.htm.
