Symptoms
While comparing reconciliation report generated in Odin Automation/CloudBlue Commerce platform (Provider's Control Panel > Applications > Azure Cloud Solution Provider > Instances > Select instance > Reports) with reconciliation file generated by Microsoft, it can be seen that PartnerCost value in Odin Automation report is way higher than PostTaxTotal value from Microsoft report for some customers.
Current version of Azure CSP application installed on the platform is 7.7.1 or 8.0.
Cause
Software-related issue #APSA-22550 causes duplication of consumption records in the Azure endpoint database which leads to overbilling of a customer.
Resolution
The software-related issue has been fixed in Azure CSP 7.7.2. In case of Azure CSP 8.0, it is required to apply internal workaround for the issue.
Contact Cloudblue Technical Support as soon as possible to schedule an upgrade, apply the fix on the current version and obtain full list of affected customers.
